MOD EDIT: Betonline made the player good after investigation.

I have recently been on a very hot streak on BetOnline.ag and have been fortunate enough to accrue an account balance of over $9,600. My last bet was placed last night, a 2 team parlay of 76ers and Louisiana Lafayette ML. I went to bed with over $9,600 in my account. At noon today, 11/5/21, I check my account and there’s $19.60 in my account. No trace of any losses or explanation. I contact support. They say the money was “transferred to the casino.” After more digging they tell me the money was lost. It was not me. No one close to me has any access to my account other than myself which I access on my phone and laptop. So clearly I have been hacked. They make me tell them my internet provider, devices and also change my password. I oblige. The security team did an initial investigation into the matter and somehow did not find any suspicious log in information. After this initial investigation I maintain with 100% certainly that I did not make any bets from last night until the noon login. Currently, a second investigation is being launched and will apparently take 24-48 hours, but I have little faith in their integrity.

I understand that it's impossible to trust me without 100% certainty as many posters of this nature leave out pertinent information. This is not the case with me. As all gamblers have, I've lost fair and square before and would never lie about losing money if I were truly responsible for it. My money was stolen and I am hoping BMR can help me out.

I have just submitted a complaint to BMR about BetOnline and will keep everyone updated as more developments come out. After reading other forums, it is clear I am not the first person for this to happen to recently. If it has happened to you too, please feel free to share your experiences. Thank you so much!!

We have heard this story before. But the good news is Betonline have made most people good again after their investigation.

I'll reply to your complaint form by email (y)

Feel free to delete if it isn't appropriate to be posting this info in a thread, but I just received this email. I don't even know what to say or do if they are not going to play by the rules. It just isn't true. I don't know how to prove to them it was not me. Like I said, I have lost before and have never and would never falsely make these claims.

They are wary of people who know of the problem donking off their balance in the casino and trying to say this.

We'll reach out to a manger to review why they have said this in your case.

Don't worry, if you know you didn't play it in the casino, or who did, it should work out.

Thanks for weighing in Oddsmaker. Would you be willing to elaborate more on why you think that? Additionally, what are their motives for just draining my balance? I've learned a lot in the last 18 or so hours, saw that at least at one point, BOL agents had access to any member's pw. Also saw that often when this happens, the hacker will attempt to dump chips in a live poker game to another account? I'm not sure what the case is here as customer service did not tell me what the nature of the casino losses are. As an update, I reached out to Dave Mason from BOL and he apparently contacted some higher ups in customer service and I'm awaiting their response currently.

RudyRuder, thanks for reaching out. I never knew about their issues. I have always had good experiences up until yesterday. They were always rated A or better on SBR and now A+ on BMR. Only after deep digging I found out about cases similar to my own and that in 2017 they had a dealing cheating scandal in their live casino. If anyone sees this thread and has any tips, ideas or comments, feel free to reply! Thanks.

Just received a phone call from a gentleman I spoke to yesterday and he alleged to 2:37 AM login 11/5/2021 on my BetOnline account from my phone, directly followed by $9,600 dollars of casino losses.

Again, I told him this was impossible, as I was asleep with my phone off during these hours. I probed him about the nature of these losses in the casino, i.e. hand by hand details but he failed to do so and just kept repeatedly telling me they could not be responsible for the losses. Really do not know what to even do right now. Awaiting response from Dave Mason and also help from Bookmakersreview, but they ultimately just do not want to be truthful about this matter.

Give your phone carrier a call, explain that a bookmaker says your phone was used on their site at that time, but you know it wasn't.

If your phone was "turned off" as you say, then I think the phone company should be able to confirm if this is true or not.

That would help Dave Mason in helping you. Gives him ammunition to argue internally.

Was told the login occurred using my ATT wifi. I am only able to retrieve hourly device usage within 24 hours, but will see if they can provide more detailed logs.

I thought you said they claimed it was your phone that was used?

If a Wifi router only log info they have it makes the situation a bit tougher.

I can only speak from my own experience which I have outlined above. I'm not trying to bash the site, I am hoping this is a misunderstanding and can be resolved. Worrisome, nonetheless.
