What’s the most cash you ever had at one time on your person ?
$34,200 for me after my my single best Vegas run. Summer of 2014.

A night at the Wynn I turned $4k into $34,200 in a 10 hour session playing 5/10 poker and high-limit Baccarat. An amazing night where I literally couldn’t lose.

I’ve had bigger checks, etc. come my way but as far as having cold hard cash in my hand this is it.

What was the highest bet you made at the table for Baccarat ? Do you have a certain way you like to play …

That night the biggest bet I made was $5k.

The run I was on I was playing 5/10 and every 30-45 minutes or so I’d go make a $1k bet on the player in baccarat. If I won I went back to the poker table, if I lost I bet $2k. That night I never lost more than one hand of Baccarat in a row. So literally every time I left the table it was with a $1k profit. I always put the yellow $1k chips in my left pocket.

By 8 am I had probably won about 10k at poker and $15k at baccarat. It was the first time I counted all my money when the poker game finally broke. I went in and played one final hand of Baccarat for $5k and won it and cashed out for $34,200.

They had comped me a steak dinner for two. We put the money up in the safe. I slept until 3 pm. The ex woke me like I asked her to. We went and ate that $400 comped meal and checked out. Deposited all but 1k in the bank, which was about a $20 cab ride.

Checked in at the mirage later that day for the rest of the trip because I had free rooms and a $750 casino credit there. I haven’t spent a night again at Wynn/Encore for whatever reason. That night is the only night I’ve ever spent there. And the only reason we were there for a night is Mirage was booked that night.

Damn what a story, I think you’ve told this once before, but I didn’t remember much from last time. Thanks for sharing that again, I love to hear these type of positive stories too many negative stories usually told or untold in-fact.

Yeah I’ve told it a couple of times in fourumville.

I know we’ve all been on hot streaks but this was incredible. I went 27-3 once in college during March Madness (got a check for $8k from offshore) and I’ve had days at the track when I hit 10 of 11 winners, etc. maybe netting $6-7k, but as far as total money won no where close to this one night in Vegas.

Would you say overall in your gambling career across every sport, table games, race tracks etc are you an even plus gambler ?

I’d say even plus the last 10-12 years for sure. Had some up and down years like we all . Been gambling since I was 12-13 or so. We’d always find something to gamble on.

Honestly the two things that helped the most was learning money management. Still a work in progress but I’m a lot better than I used to be. Also staying away from the racetrack. That’s the path to brokesville. we used to go a lot when I was in college. Impossible to beat that sport on a consistent basis. only go 4-5 times a year now.

I know one thing at least, for the last year since I’ve been here you have definitely been an even plus gambler with your sports picks you have shared no doubt about it. 👍

Funny enough he is called The Boss because he is the one who controlled the cash and distribution to the E Street Band in its early days when they played in clubs
Now you have me thinking...
Saw them in concert over christmas years and years ago. They sang the best cover of "Santa Clause is coming to town" I've ever heard.

Clarence Clemons (RIP) was the best sax player alive at the time. Incredible sax player.
