Sammy on the phone with Spectrum like…

yea so obviously with my job I'm on the phone with insurance companies often. They bring out the best rage in me.

If they fukk up I let them know how bad they are at their job and compare them to other companies. I'll allow mistakes, shit happens, but 3x and im raging. Or when companies tell me emails will take up to 30 minutes. Like what are you using dial up internet

emails take 1 minute to receive and guess what I'm staying on the phone until I receive bc i'm not going through 10 minutes of promps and holds just to get another agent and start all over again

m favorite insurance story is a local agent called my GM and complained that I yelled at her. my GM asked why I yelled. She said she messed up insurance 3x

my GM goes...well i agree Sam shouldn't have yelled at you, but can you understand his frustration hahahaha

my GM didn't care at all. Justified. Do you job. plain and simple

Disney/ESPN trying to rape everyone to make up for their financial woes

Can't blame spectrum for standing their ground

If more companies would do the same cable/satellite prices would come down
Disney is trying to force Spectrum to take all their streaming channels and pay for all of them even though they only want a few.

Disney Channel, ESPN, Freeform, National Geographic and many local stations on the ABC network

We cut the cord years ago. Its the way to go. Just get internet from cable provider.

We are all streaming now. Hulu (Disney+ and ESPN+ included). PrimeTV, Philo, AppleTV.
Didn't have youtubeTV avail years ago when we switched but may switch to them soon.

Only streaming channel I would like to add yet is peacock because they have a lot of soccer games.

Same here

Those streaming services are all I need these days

I can follow Sports well enough on regular televised games and follow the rest online

I have all the same ones, Tanko. Except for Philo.

And I also have Netflix and UFC Fight Pass. And Pluto which I use sometimes for live news. Pluto is free.

What do you use Philo for?

Cut the cord years ago as well

Hulu
Netflix (included with T-Mobile)
Amazon Prime Video
Vudu
Peacock

For live TV: JetStream TV. Thousands upon thousands of TV channels and some movies including some still in theaters. I believe I pay around $300 for 3 years for two connections. So basically two TV's can simultaneously be watching it.

Does it buffer/freeze occasionally? Yes. Are channel sometimes offline? Yes. But overall for the most part for what I pay for it it works out very very well
