Braves/Diamondbacks Over 8 runs

The Diamondbacks have been hitting the cover off the ball the last week and are one of the top teams in baseball at hitting left-handed pitchers for power. Braves starter Chris Sale has been incredible this year, and the bullpen has been phenomenal. Arizona needs to get on the board early. The Diamondbacks are starting Yilber Diaz as he makes his MLB debut. Diaz has a big arm but also walks a lot of batters. I don’t expect him to go long in his first start. The Arizona bullpen has yet to live up to expectations. Atlanta’s offense excels when playing on turf and should score a lot in the later innings. Look for enough runs to make it a high-scoring game.
