A lot of us were on the Giants yesterday. They can't beat good teams it seems but they sure can beat up on the teams they're supposed to beat. That's why it's frustrating as a Giants fan because they give you hope when they play weak teams that they can go on a run but when they run into the elite of the National League they can't get the job done. I too am staying away from them for the forseeable future as far as betting goes.

NFL Week 1

This team is a choke artist in the playoffs, but I think they are going to come out strong in Week 1 and make a "statement" of sorts. Cleveland defense is a bit overrated, and think Cowboys are being undervalued in general. They are pretty clearly the best team in their division despite being second in preseason odds. This has moved a lot towards Dallas, which frankly does concern me a bit, but I think they are going to be able to scrape out a pretty close game. Think they are better and are gonna be locked in Week 1

I like Bo Nix in general, but he's a rookie making his first NFL start in a pretty tough environment. Oh, and his team sucks. I'm not bullish on Seattle in terms of making the playoffs or making much noise, but I think they're gonna be a team that fights hard and performs pretty well at home. I think they should be able to win by more than a touchdown.

Thought for sure I'd skip this game, but I decided to take a shot on KC covering a field goal at that price. I think the Chiefs are actually going to be considerably better this year, while Baltimore may take a step back. Baltimore backers might play the "revenge" angle, but I don't think that really applies here. I think the Ravens are gonna struggle to move the ball. Chiefs can afford to be pretty aggressive upfront, and force Lamar to use his arm -- don't think he will be able to do that in this environment against an improved KC defense

Even if it's an ugly game, you still have Mahomes needing to win by just a field goal to preserve a push. Feels like good value at +105
