I don't take it back. He was never as bad as last year ever, but stats a little misleading.

He got off to an MVP start in 2020 and then tailed off pretty badly

Not saying he sucked by any stretch, just never thought he was in that elite/top tier group. Also he's getting older, and his game isn't set to age as well given he can't move as well anymore

Geno's success on a team that was supposed to suck also kind of exposed Wilson.
Yeah I pretty much expected you would double down on your opinion of him lol. You’re the type of man who is never wrong 🤣 all good stormy.

I’m kinda confused with Wilson

He had Metcalf, Lockett, and a good supporting cast in Seattle

However he also had a good supporting cast in Denver with Sutton, Jeudy, Fant etc

Maybe just adjusting? I dunno

Why would I rank him high just because he was good at one point?

I'm wrong about a lot of shit all the time, but I called out the Russell Wilson shit before the season started last season. Wasn't wrong about that one.

Denver supporting cast not nearly as good tbh. Wilson could get bailed out by tossing it to one of those guys.

Not sure why people were so high on Denver last year. They had a great defense, but people seemed to ignore how much of a train-wreck they were offensively in 2021.

Just a classic , '"Let's add a declining, aging quarterback to the mix and everything works."

I am not a Wilson apologist at all I think he probably is done but I just don’t get the straight downwards decline

Kinda like a pitcher when they just don’t have it anymore

His game is too dependent on his legs, and he is aging.

Got a fat contract

Plus he went to a worse situation

Players like that decline faster.

I couldn't believe how hyped they were last season. I had them as the worst team in the division. All the AFC West hype was insane....great value on the Chiefs

Wish we'd get lucky this year but the books probably learned their lesson

“Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson was issued his own personal office upon joining the team last year, but the veteran signal-caller reportedly agreed to give it up late in the season.

According to Kalyn Kahler, Mike Sando and Jayson Jenks of The Athletic, Broncos coaches had a talk with Wilson following the firing of head coach Nathaniel Hacket that led to Wilson agreeing to give up his office and to no longer have his personal support staff in the building for the final two weeks of the season.”

What a diva

My point is you can’t stick a guy in the gutter after one bad year. No he was not last year he was bottom tier productive.
I wasn't optimistic about him going into last year. Feel like it's pretty fair tbh I mean last year should matter more than any years

I didn't think he would suck quite as bad as he did, but I did think they would be the worst team in that division and that he would continue his regression

I would put him at 14 after last year. Oh I just realized you put Geno at 10. Yeah don’t agree with that one either which makes sense because of your distaste for Wilson. Geno I would put right after Wilson at 15.

You could argue Geno is coming off a better season than Wilson ever had in Seattle

Geno is the more accurate thrower, which matters a lot more now given Wilson doesn't have legs anymore
