That's what I do to cap any game. There's more to it that I indicate but, I don't want to write a book for each game. The write-ups are already probably more than most will read.

I will read write ups regardless of length, but I refuse to watch pick videos, thanks for taking the time

Texas @ NY Mets 7:10 ET

Peterson (NYM) 3.1 ERA vs Otto (TEX) 5.31 ERA. Otto is actually doing worse that his ERA shows lately. Peterson is clearly the better pitcher.

NYM Bats have not been as active in lasts 7 days (0.194 AVG) but their opponents have been very good pitchers. Houston for 4 games and Miami for 3 games so the data is squewed a little.

Relief pitching also favors NYM slightly.

This is also a system play for me.

Arizona @ Colorado 8:10 ET

Frankly this one is a dart board shot. The ML is a toss up play. These are evenly matched not so great teams. The totals are tough because its in Coors field.

Colorado is a 0.500 team at home and D-backs are ~40% team on the road and they've actually been worse than that in the last month or so.

We'll go with the home team.

LA Angels @ Houston 8:10 ET

This is another system play for me. A little juicy but I still like the play.

Javier (HOU) has been pitching well and Lorenzen (LAA) has been OK but occasionally he gives up quite a few runs. His last appearance against Houston he gave up 4 runs in 3.1 innings.

Houston is somewhat on a roll. They went 7-2 in 9 games against the NYY and NYMs.
The Angels have shown they struggle against the better teams this year.

Baltimore @ Minnesota 8:10 ET

Watkins (BAL) vs Ryan (MIN). 5.14 ERA for Watkins. He had a good outing vs White Sox last time out but prior to that he has really struggled and his ERA ballooned. I'm not confident he's fixed all his problems. Ryan (3.2 ERA) has been a little more solid but not great over the last month.

Minny bats have been doing very well over the last week, 0.266 avg vs Baltimore 0.207 avg over same period.

Seattle has the better starter, better batting lately, and a better bullpen.

This looks like an over game to me.

Lynn (CWS) and Cobb (SF) both have been giving up runs. This is only Lynn's 4th appearance this season and he's at 6.19 ERA. Cobb is 5.48 ERA.

Both bullpens are in the bottom 1/3 of the MLB.
