The charging issue is the biggest issue. Just like Bobby says, if you're in a metro area, you have to wait in line and then unless you pay high prices for a supercharger, you have to wait during the charging.

I've heard there is new technology coming out that will charge from empty to full in 10-15 minutes. That would be a huge plus IMO.

Mr. Bobby, Did I miss it in the video... it the Suburban in the shop?

Finally, stay out of the sun (118 F) and don't melt.
Just charge at home once a week unless you're going somewhere far.

Yep. Thats the issue. We go on road trips a lot for 4-7 day stretches.

I could see how it would be a perfect commuter car but, for long road-trips, maybe not so great.
The neat thing about the Tesla is with the navigation if you put in where you are going it will tell you where there are chargers along the way, how long your charge will last until you get to those locations and how many times you will need to stop to charge

You said it's cheaper, $26 to charge vs $110 to fill your suburban.

How many miles can you go on a $26 charge?

How many miles on the $110 gas?
Gas : around 250 to 270 give or take

Electric: I'm still trying to get a grasp on it. I honestly believe the vehicle that they gave me has a battery issue because I am only getting about 120 miles to a full charge. My friends I talk with that own their Tesla's say they get about 250. It's rated for 250 but I figured I'd maybe get 200 out of it. But the more I use the AC and other features in the car the more power it takes and the less miles that I get. If I drive let's say at night I would get better mileage because I would use less AC

Will it tell you if there is any kind of "wait" time at those charging stations Mr. Bobby?

I've heard you have to replace the batteries more frequently than the 300K miles (1500 cycles) Elon claimed. If the car you using is older, maybe the batteries are going out on it.

Cost for batteries/labor $15k+ depending upon the model.

This is why I would never buy an older electric vehicle without discounting for battery life.

It only has 18,000 miles on it so I don't think it's that old. Maybe it has to do with the continued use of the AC or something I'm not really sure

Wow that is a lot cheaper for sure even when only getting 120 miles per charge.
