They were the underdog vs the LAL in 1987 I am pretty certain.

2008 - the LAL were a heavy favorite almost 2 to 1
2010 - the LAL were favored again
2022 - The GS Dubs were favored over them

Here in 2024 They are finally the favorite again.

Lakers beat C's in 2010 in G7. very close series and super close game 7 (kobe had an awful shooting game but a great rebounding game if i recall)

Lakers won Bubble title in 2020

C's lost to a dynasty GS in 2022

now C's are back in the finals

I would give the edge to the Lakers from 1980 until Now.

Prior to the 80's, the Celtics were the Kings of the NBA especially through the entire 60's.

I think it'll be Dallas in 6 but I will say that when comes to the NBA I have been fade worthy for the past two weeks. I just think Boston's two best players are not at the level of Dallas's two best players. Luka and Kyrie are going to cook Boston imo and Dallas's defense has improved to the point where they'll hold Tatum and Brown in check. The only reason Boston is favored here is they have home court advantage but that hasn't really mattered to Dallas as they've been able to win on the road and I think they can again here.
