Lets say your team wins game 1..... Do you rest players or play hard to win game 2?

If ATL wins game 1, no way in hell are they bringing out Sale to pitch game two. They are saving him for the playoffs and San Diego TOMORROW.

If NYM wins game 1, they probably won't play hard in game 2 either. WHY? If they win game 2 they go to San Diego tomorrow. If they lose game 2, they go to Milwaukee tomorrow. I'd take MIL and less travel over SD without question. SD is rolling lately.

Bottom line: whoever wins game 1 has zero incentive to win game 2.

This is gonna be a split.
