The Raiders Are Being HUGELY Slept On!

I guess you should bet the house on the Raiders over since you have them at ten and the number is 6.5. I use a predictive model for season wins which makes a very small profit, but over more than ten years, I have never had a team with a 3.5 game variance. Two money-line winners versus the Champions should probably fund your whole season...all you need is for Gardner to outplay Mahomes. You should seriously read the daily LVJR updates on the Raiders or, at least, pay attention to their pre-season games.

Minshew doesn't need to outplay Mahomes. Our D took care of Mahomes last Christmas all by itself. Our D is better this year than it was last season by a wide margin and so is our offense.

There isn't any way anyone is convincing me that the Raiders, who won 8 games last season, somehow is going to be worse this season after all the improvements we made.

The Colts did not make the playoffs last season. You have mentioned Aiden O'Connell multiple times in this thread, how are you not embarrassed? He is not even a viable backup. Guy did not complete a pass for an entire half of football, that is a fact. Def bottom 3 QB room in the league, could make the argument the worst.

I think most people can read this team knowing they are tanking the season to get a real QB next year...probably Dak. They will open at 3-6 and in about week four, the Davante trade rumors start. There is not a guy on this forum who would fail to empty their savings account to bet the Raiders under ten. In fact, the highest alternate total I can find on them is 8.5 un-300.

Anytime I need a good laugh I google "Raiders coaching staff 2024" and see the likes of Joe Philbin and Rob Ryan Rob going to teach the D coordinator how to scheme up a wide 9 like it's 1976?

You're right, Colts didn't make the playoffs. O'Connell was the best 2nd best QB in the draft last season after Stroud statistically.

Raiders are much better than now than they were last season. I'm glad to see so many doubters here. We'll see who laughs last when the season begins.

Raiders are not tanking. Pierce wouldn't go for something like that.

That's cool, you are definitely coming from a contrarian POV for the success of the Raiders this year. I know a professional gambler in this industry that has the exact opposite opinion on this team so for me personally this will be entertaining to see how it plays out, and we can revisit this thread at the end of the season.
