I am a former 76er season ticket holder back in the late 80's - mid-90's. They were right on mid-court 16 rows up from the floor, the aisle seat and the one next to me. Point is I am a long-time sixer fan. This game tomorrow night is the type of game in the past 20 years or so that they would lose. I never thought they would be the Celtics, and they have not yet........
I sense something different with this team, attitude wise. It certainly helps that Harden and Maxey are playing well, but it is something more than that. I believe that IF they beat the Celtics, they beat the Heat too (assuming the Heat close it out). IMO, the only team in the west who may stand a chance against Philly is LA. Philly would handle GS, Phoenix or Denver. I know there are many that feel LA is on a roll and will win it all, but it does not happen too often in the NBA where a team slides by playing mediocre basketball during the regular season, then are "world-beaters" in the playoffs and win the title. I feel that if LA gets to the finals, they revert back to the "norm". Yes, I am a 76er fan, but far from a "homer".
