Back in the early nineties and on through we played poker out in my garage at least three nights a week ( my wife’s a saint). As the song says I wish that I knew all I know now when I was younger.
Had l taped all those nights it would of made one hell off a reality show. I can’t begin to tell you the comedy the fighting bad beats. It would of been like the Truman Show we played for hours on end.

I’m right there. Every once in a while someone will restore your faith in humanity but most people will disappoint you. Meeting some of the people that I’ve met here, has been good. Very decent, stand up guys and girl here.

Confidence is a great quality to have at your age. Most of us here were just like you at your age. If I could get you to do one thing that most of us failed to do or waited too long to do it, I would suggest you becoming a "sponge." This goes for all the young guys/girls out there. Just become a sponge and absorb everything you can from everyone you come across in this life and not just in gambling. Even from the biggest dipshits, you can learn so much. Just keep that open mind, be open to change, and be like a fvcking chameleon and adapt.

Not to make light of this advice because it is generally good advice….

But I’ve found your comments be kind of strange and misplaced. Your demeanor in general has been kind of odd. Came into my threads and basically tried to say my opinions sucked, unprovoked. Then you say I refuse to be wrong just because I am capable of defending an opinion that is different than yours.

I don’t really care if someone shares a different opinion in my threads — it’s sports, this shit doesn’t actually matter lol and I find the debate/dialogue is interesting sometimes. Also I think I’m pretty open about admitting when I’m wrong, in fact I can be pretty self deprecating after a shitty week like Week 1 lol.
