Ok stay with me here ladies and gentlemen. This post is going to be discussing the Tower of Babel. Not only will we be discussing it, but I am going to show you the actual Tower of Babel which still exists today even though modern scientists and biblical scholars will tell you it was just a myth.

Before I reveal it, let's see what Wikipedia has to say about it....

The Tower of Babel[a] is an origin myth and parable in the Book of Genesis[1] meant to explain why the world's peoples speak different languages.[2][3][4][5]

According to the story, a united human race speaking a single language and migrating eastward, comes to the land of Shinar (Hebrew: שִׁנְעָר, romanized: Šinʿār; Ancient Greek: Σενναάρ, romanized: Sennaár). There they agree to build a city and a tower with its top in the sky. Yahweh, observing their city and tower, confounds their speech so that they can no longer understand each other, and scatters them around the world.

Some modern scholars have associated the Tower of Babel with known structures, notably Etemenanki, a ziggurat dedicated to the Mesopotamian god Marduk in Babylon. A Sumerian story with some similar elements is told in Enmerkar and the Lord of Aratta.

Complete horseshit ladies and gentlemen. The tower still exists.

Let's see what the Bible says about the Tower of Babel....

The Tower of Babel

11 Now the whole earth had one language and the same words. 2 And as they migrated from the east,[a] they came upon a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. 3 And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and bitumen for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” 5 The Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which mortals had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Look, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is only the beginning of what they will do; nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down, and confuse their language there, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. 9 Therefore it was called Babel, because there the Lord confused[b] the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

Ok, it gives a little narrative but doesn't go into great detail. So now the question becomes are there any other sources that can give us greater insight?

The answer is yes. Fortunately, we do have extra biblical sources that go into much greater detail about the Tiwer than the Bible does. It's called the Book of Jasher.

Here's what it says...

20 And king Nimrod reigned securely, and all the earth was under his control, and all the earth was of one tongue and words of union.

21 And all the princes of Nimrod and his great men took counsel together; Phut, Mitzraim, Cush and Canaan with their families, and they said to each other, Come let us build ourselves a city and in it a strong tower, and its top reaching heaven, and we will make ourselves famed, so that we may reign upon the whole world, in order that the evil of our enemies may cease from us, that we may reign mightily over them, and that we may not become scattered over the earth on account of their wars.

22 And they all went before the king, and they told the king these words, and the king agreed with them in this affair, and he did so.

23 And all the families assembled consisting of about six hundred thousand men, and they went to seek an extensive piece of ground to build the city and the tower, and they sought in the whole earth and they found none like one valley at the east of the land of Shinar, about two days' walk, and they journeyed there and they dwelt there.

24 And they began to make bricks and burn fires to build the city and the tower that they had imagined to complete.

25 And the building of the tower was unto them a transgression and a sin, and they began to build it, and whilst they were building against the Lord God of heaven, they imagined in their hearts to war against him and to ascend into heaven.

26 And all these people and all the families divided themselves in three parts; the first said We will ascend into heaven and fight against him; the second said, We will ascend to heaven and place our own gods there and serve them; and the third part said, We will ascend to heaven and smite him with bows and spears; and God knew all their works and all their evil thoughts, and he saw the city and the tower which they were building.

27 And when they were building they built themselves a great city and a very high and strong tower; and on account of its height the mortar and bricks did not reach the builders in their ascent to it, until those who went up had completed a full year, and after that, they reached to the builders and gave them the mortar and the bricks; thus was it done daily.

28 And behold these ascended and others descended the whole day; and if a brick should fall from their hands and get broken, they would all weep over it, and if a man fell and died, none of them would look at him.

29 And the Lord knew their thoughts, and it came to pass when they were building they cast the arrows toward the heavens, and all the arrows fell upon them filled with blood, and when they saw them they said to each other, Surely we have slain all those that are in heaven.

30 For this was from the Lord in order to cause them to err, and in order; to destroy them from off the face of the ground.

31 And they built the tower and the city, and they did this thing daily until many days and years were elapsed.

32 And God said to the seventy angels who stood foremost before him, to those who were near to him, saying, Come let us descend and confuse their tongues, that one man shall not understand the language of his neighbor, and they did so unto them.

33 And from that day following, they forgot each man his neighbor's tongue, and they could not understand to speak in one tongue, and when the builder took from the hands of his neighbor lime or stone which he did not order, the builder would cast it away and throw it upon his neighbor, that he would die.

34 And they did so many days, and they killed many of them in this manner.

35 And the Lord smote the three divisions that were there, and he punished them according to their works and designs; those who said, We will ascend to heaven and serve our gods, became like apes and elephants; and those who said, We will smite the heaven with arrows, the Lord killed them, one man through the hand of his neighbor; and the third division of those who said, We will ascend to heaven and fight against him, the Lord scattered them throughout the earth.

36 And those who were left amongst them, when they knew and understood the evil which was coming upon them, they forsook the building, and they also became scattered upon the face of the whole earth.

37 And they ceased building the city and the tower; therefore he called that place Babel, for there the Lord confounded the Language of the whole earth; behold it was at the east of the land of Shinar.

38 And as to the tower which the sons of men built, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up one third part thereof, and a fire also descended from heaven and burned another third, and the other third is left to this day, and it is of that part which was aloft, and its circumference is three days' walk.

39 And many of the sons of men died in that tower, a people without number.

WOW! MUCH MORE DETAILED THAN THE BIBLE! NOW WE'RE ON TO SOMETHING!

So the story from the Book of Jasher gives great detail and leaves many questions....

1. Nimrod was the world's first emperor. The entire earth was under his control and all of humanity.

2. Nimrod's princes came to him with the idea of building a great and strong tower, in part, to escape the wars of their enemies.

3. If all of humanity was under Nimrod's control and everyone was united in one place and spoke one language, then who and what were the enemies with their never-ending wars that they were referring to? Whoever they were, they are described as evil.

4. The tower was the biggest structure/object/thing on the planet. 600,00 men working on it day and night for generations. So gigantic that to go from the bottom to the top took a full calendar year. It's almost unimaginable.

5. The circumference of the tower was so enormous it took 3 days to walk it. This must have been the most monumental thing humanity ever built. Easily.

6. It's in the East of the land of Shinar.

7. What kind of technology did they possess that they could search the whole earth in two days?

Ok, so now we've got something to work with here. First, where is Shinar?

Modern archeologists and researchers have been looking for Shinar and the tower for centuries with no luck. There isn't any documentation left as to it's location.

They have all been searching in Iraq. No wonder their search has proven futile every time they go to look for the tower.

These people searched the whole world for two days to find a suitable location to build a tower that would reach Heaven. Why would anyone in their right mind choose Iraq which is barely above sea level and in some places under it?

Iraq would be among the last of locations to choose to build a tower to heaven. It's a completely illogical choice and so cannot be the location of the tower.

Do we have any other clues? Indeed. "None like a valley at the east of the land of Shinar."

It's in a valley.

What valley though? What valley is suitable enough to build a tower to heaven? Does such a location even exist?

Yes, it does. At a place which is called the rooftop of the world. The highest elevation on the whole planet and the only place suitable enough to build a tower to heaven.

Tibet.

Tibet is home to the highest mountain peak on the planet, Mt. Everest. It is also the home of the Tower of Babel.

So, is there any place in Tibet that matches the description given in the Book of Jasher. Yes, and it's the only place on earth that is so enormous that it takes three days to walk the circumference of it just like Jasher says.

It is the only place on earth that could be the Tower of Babel and in fact, it is the Tower of Babel.

So what it is it?

MOUNT KAILASH

In the pictures, you can clearly see the area around this "mountain" is extremely excavated. It takes 3 days to walk the circumference, the only place on earth.

Obviously, it isn't a mountain. Instead what we see is the one third remaining from it's destruction.

Mount Kailash stands at over 6,600 M in elevation. At it's full pre-destruction height, it must have been 70,000 feet tall or more. No wonder it took a year to go from bottom to top.

Mount Kailash is fronted by two man made lakes, the Manasarovar and the Rakshashtal. Manasarovar is freshwater and Rakshashtal is saltwater.

Lake Manasarovar with the remains of the Tower of Babel in the background.

Lake Rakshashtal with the remains of the Tower of Babel in the background.

Surrounding the Tower of Babel/Mount Kailash is a city. Just like Jasher told us. This city is very significant ladies and gentleman.

It is the original city of Babylon.

The fact is, Babylon was named after the Tower. Not the other way around. Babylon was city that belonged to the Tower it was named after.

The Babylon in Iraq is just a name taken from the real and original source.

There are many examples of this throughout our own history. When the English colonized America, York became New York, Jersey became New Jersey, and so on.

That is what happened with Babylon.

And so, this completes my presentation to you all. I hope this was fun, entertaining, and educational for you all.and filled you with a sense wonderment.

Thank you.
