UNC vs Mich St. Saturday - Only 3.5 pt spread????

What am I missing here?

Tom Izzo is a great coach and frankly I don't have a lot of faith in Hubert Davis but..... There is something to be siad for the difference in players on these teams.

Mich St. has only won 3 out of their last 8 games. They've only beaten a top 30 team twice (both were at home and one was in December). You have to go back to mid-December to find when UNC (counting backwards) lost its 5th game.

Almost every KenPom metric points to UNC. I see no injuries. WTH?
Someone fill me in. @carolinakid you're big on ACC. What's up?

I tried to look for other information to see the possible reason why the line is only -3.5, but this is the only one that catches my attention.

Other books have already been updated to -4.

Maybe my eyes are colored too much "Tar Heel Blue" but, this seems too easy to me.

Mich St. looked OK vs Mississippi St yesterday but they didn't look good enough to hang with UNC.

Oddly enough the sharps are pounding North Carolina but most of the money is being bet on Michigan State and it probably has to do with how people perceive Izzo. I don't think his team is very good but I will probably stay away from this one as a bettor and just watch it as a college basketball fan because so far I've been selective with my bets in March Madness and I'm doing well following that strategy.

Nothing is guaranteed in this tournament. North Carolina is very good don't get me wrong but one bad game or a game where Michigan State plays out of their minds and North Carolina could go home. Michigan State has underachieved this year but I still respect Izzo and he'll have his boys ready to play their best.

I agree any team can show up and win vs another team but, IMO there is a large discrepancy in team performances here. UNC is >> Mich St.. Mich St has the way better coach but UNC has the players.

I just think this line is incorrect. Maybe -5 or even -6 is closer to what I think it should be.

UNC spread -3.5 -108 late last night.

This seems like a trap

Hopefully, not a trap if sharps are on UNC and public on Mich St.
