I know everyone has a different take on this subject but there is something that feels wrong about NIL. College is supposed to be for a degree. My niece got into Michigan. Its like 70k per year. So if you get a scholarship there you go, you just got paid 280k

I said in a prior post. You get NIL $, you should pay your own tuition and room/board.

The part about getting an education really doesn’t apply anymore for high profile college athletes, does it. Their attendance in class is probably lower than before NIL.

Yeah that really is the problem. Everyone using college as a stepping stone for pro careers. And then the same guys will be out of the league in 4-5 yrs or less and will have nothing to fall back on

The NIL has to go to high character players who know that the money is also tied to high performance. Paying the wrong players and low character players is going to always be a problem. DJU is a prime example. He needs to be benched. He can’t be the best QB at FSU. Just like someone who loses everything after winning the lottery. Some players are just not going to produce even though they are getting NIL, and that is going to be a big public problem for all involved.
