Thanks for supporting the greatest game on Earth. Its a tough crowd around here where a 1 - 0, 2 hit shutout in baseball is considered exciting , but a 1 - 0 soccer match is boring. Its beyond me

I don't think a lot of people understand the intricacies of the game. There is excitement with ever play into the front third of the field. They just don't watch enough to see it.

Every pass that gets through, the corners for awesome header attempts, the nutmegs that make you laugh, and awesome saves by goalies - especially on penatly kicks. It truly is the beautiful game.

Sorry Tanko , I had an old buddy drop by this afternoon so i missed a chance to respond.

I think the gap between these two is no where near the line offered. It really should be a close game with 1st or 2nd place on the line. With that said , these lines are presently available......

I may be Canadian but i always admire the US for never settling. I remember watching the Winter Olympics in 1988. It was in Calgary and the Canadian commentator was announcing with great excitement how this Cdn cross country skier is about to set a new Canadian best finish ever. I got excited and started cheering him on as he crossed the line.... 29th place...AMAZING.
No American network would be following a 29th place skier as he makes his way to the finish line. There would be sheer disappointment if he finished 2nd and settled for Silver. America demands , and expects Gold in all that they do. I admire that of the US and wish we as Canadians would start to place those same expectations on our athletes. Backing your own team out of patriotic sentiment is costly if your American. Just my 2 cents

I dont like the 3 - 5 - 2 formation by Netherlands. Coach is sticking to it , but the pace of #11 Smith of the US may exploit that lack of a wide defender. Fingers crossed

All these games are daytime for you aren’t they? Aren’t you basically 12 hours difference from US?

I never understood why you don’t get 100 percent of the Sunday Night Football games correct since it’s Monday morning there and you should already know the score.

#28 Argentina were equal to Italy in their opening match. Although the Italians found a late winner , it was 50/50 up to that point. #54 South Africa had Sweden on the ropes briefly , with a botched play by their keeper, but even the driving rainfall didnt stop Sweden from dominating the remainder of the game , which they won 2 - 1. I can see Argentina's midfield controlling the tempo and beating an inferior foe tomorrow
