Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some advice on how to handle a recent situation with Bookmaker. I signed up for Bookmaker in late March, and have run up a balance of around $8000. I know Bookmaker has a stellar reputation and that most people have had no issues with them, which is why I registered. However, they have really been giving me the run around on my withdrawals.

A few days after signing up, I submitted pictures of my ID, as well as images of cards that I used to deposit, and I was verified within 10 minutes - no issues. A few days later, I made my first withdrawal. Then on my next withdrawal, they blocked my account and asked me to send pictures of my ID, a selfie with ID, and a selfie with a piece of paper showing the date of the transaction. I also had to fill out an Excel sheet with my transaction details and send it to them. I did as told and again, the KYC team responded within 30 minutes and told me I was verified.

At this point I thought everything was fine and wasn't worried until my next withdrawal about a week later, they again blocked it and asked me to submit selfies with ID, paper with today's date, etc. I did as told but this time the KYC team stopped responding completely so now I am stuck in limbo with about $8000 in my account. Furthermore, a few days later, I woke up to find that my account had been promotion banned, and all of my betpoints had been taken away, which does not make me feel any better about the chances of getting my money back.

I don't understand why I need to send documents/selfies 3 times in 3 weeks, and the fact that they have stopped responding on the 3rd verification, after 2 successful verifications makes me feel as if this is a stall tactic on bookmaker's part in order to avoid paying me out. If you have any advice on how I should proceed I'd really appreciate it, it seems like my only option right now is to wait it out for a response, but the fact that they went from approving my documents within 30 minutes the first two times, to now 2+ weeks with no response makes me worried.

I've also read several threads on here that are very similar to mine, where Bookmaker asks you to send a selfie to kyc@bookmaker.eu, only to stop responding, and it seems like it took others several months to get their money out. I only signed up because I've heard many positive things from people with six-figure balances on the site, the fact that they are pulling these tactics is really disappointing.

TLDR: Bookmaker blocked withdrawal, asked for selfies, and hasn't responded in 2+ weeks. This is the 3rd verification I've had to do in 3 weeks, worried I'll never get my $8000 out at this rate. I've contacted support many times in those 2+ weeks but they only tell me that they can't make the KYC team review my documents since they are a separate department. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

I am going through this exact same situation. Live chats is helpful until I tell them the situation and they look up my account. Then they are very robotic with their responses and offer nothing useful in terms of an update or anything. Also was cleared with my ID and able to withdraw 3-4 times before this nonsense. Not looking good at all.

I have only used my personal IPhone in the US. I deposited via lite coin because they said it was easiest/fastest method. Up until this time around, it has been pretty smooth sailing. Sounds like it gets resolved eventually, but I try to stay in contact with them often and be as respectful as possible. It’s just frustrating that nobody can provide an update or any sort of information.

Hey guys, just following up on my situation. I wish I was making something like this up honestly. I understand it is a security measure and they are probably doing their due diligence, but it’s has been difficult. If there was anyone that was accessible on the KYC team, I believe this matter could be resolved in less than a minute to confirm I am indeed just a regular guy trying to bet on sports.
Have I won money with them thus far? Yes, but nothing near the major category which would cause them to limit me or something along those lines. I’ve told the live chat representatives I can provide any form of document/proof of identity to them, however, am told I have to wait on the KYC team. I will keep everyone posted. As many have said, this is a long standing and reputable book, so I do trust I will eventually get my money out. I will keep everyone posted.

Back with an update! After going back on the live chat and sending another email to KYC this morning, my withdrawal option was unlocked! I did not want to post this until I successfully withdrew god forbid someone from there saw this and blocked my account, but Saturday they requested me to send a video of myself reading baseball scores from the prior day. I wish I was lying because of how insane that sounds, but I literally took a video of myself on my iPhone reading scores like a basement ESPN employee. I really want to know what made them think I was some sort of scammer/fraud. For anyone who doubts the story/details, I hope it doesn’t happen to you. I was very uncertain that I’d get this resolved but it took one week exactly. I am not sure that I will be depositing again, but they did at least show they are reputable. They desperately need to update their KYC process because being held to just email without consistent answers is not how it should be done.

Thanks all.

Glad you got it resolved. Surprised this was necessary from a book like them. Haven't heard stories like this in a long time.

Hey so I’m the original poster. Bookmakersreview literally banned my account after posting so I couldnt reply and I’ve been trying to contact them to get it unbanned for 2 weeks. They’ve also not responded to my complaint.

Its currently been around a month since my dispute with BM and still have no hope of getting my money out. All they’ve asked me since I first made this post was to send a video of me reading nba scores, and more documents like utility bills. They also want to call me 1 on 1 but I’ve been travelling so I cant call them without paying ridiculous fees, and other people who have posted in recent days have not had to do that. They’ve also stopped responding for a week now so its looking like a dead end. Overall, feeling really hopeless any advice would be greatly appreciated. They just want more and more documents like I cant believe a video of me reading nba scores, multiple selfies, pictures of all my id, pictures of credit cards, etc isnt enough. This is my first time using an offshore and to lose $8000 really sucks honestly.
