Calcium supplements and osteoporosis medications can stop bone loss -- which allows the bone to rebuild itself, Diemer explains. "But the body needs 'encouragement' to rebuild bone," she adds. "The skeleton needs to be under stress so it will get stronger." That's why exercise is important for better bone health.

oh no, there will be no osteoporosis medication’s here. My bone loss wasn’t caused by “natural“ osteoporosis, which is basically irreversible. Those medication’s are horrendously horrible.

My bone loss is reversible, it was caused by parathyroid Issues. Like I said, the science is less clear, but we know there are things I can do. I’m dealing with top experts in multiple fields, and am lucky to be able to do so.

I had the bad parathyroids removed last September, by one of the best in the country, so there should be no more bone loss, that has stopped. Next step is to build back.

I’m calling it my “Build The Back Back Better“ plan…lol. I will have bone density scans at a slightly higher than normal rate to see progress, but this is a years long effort.

Please keep us updated and I have no doubt you will succeed at this.

that was a copy and paste.

several posts above that were my own thoughts.

Vitamin D3 and exercise mainly weight bearing exercises on the entire body like consistent walking and weight training.

Also a lot of isometrics. The older generations had better bone density because they weren't raised on formula, did plenty of physical work, and did isometric training.

KVer please deduct the eggs immediately.

No more three eggs a day starting this week, we are substituting other foods now in an incredible and well rounded diet. Ate In N Out yesterday and still had the percentage of calories from saturated fats below 7% for a 3000 calories diet.

Weight training is the most overrated thing you can do after 35 years old

I consulted experts across many disciplines. From encodricnology and endo surgeons, to orthopedic surgeons and experts in bone health, osteoporosis, nutrition and more. I sought and obtained advice from department heads and doctors from UCDavis to UCLA to HSS in New York and more. Many of these guys are cutting edge in research and clinical practice.

There was one common thing they all said. You must do strength training and weight bearing excercises.

So eat a dikk, Gold. I'm not trying to bulk up and powerlift here, there's nothing I do that isn't 15 reps for each set.

I'm 137 pounds and consume 3000 calories a day, my metabolism is high and I am in the gym almost daily. My diet is wide open yet well regulated. I measure and weigh everything I eat, everyday, and am accumulating data.

I am a machine (well, sort of, right now I'm have a tiny little injury that's got me doing mostly ellyptical this week and some PT excercises).
