Switzerland are carrying several players that exceed the age of 30. In soccer that age bracket is playing the back 9 in their careers. I was miffed to see Shaqiri ( 32 ) included in the squad , having played limited minutes for Chicago in the MLS. Hungary may be the up and comer of the 2 , as key players are finding starting roles across Europe's major leagues. The big concern is the health of Hungary's captain and star player Dominik Szoboszlai of Liverpool, who came off the field in their last friendly against Israel. He is not listed with any injury concerns that I could find , so I will assume he is a healthy go today. The weather in Cologne is 19c / 66f at kickoff

The line has dropped on Spain. I took them @ 1.93 this morning with Hungary/Swiss Over 2 on a parlay. Would have preferred Olmo to start in the midfield , but it shows the amount of young talent this team has. Think they own the possession game and find a winner with pace on the flanks. This 16 yr old kid Yamal is electric and already worth an estimated $82 mill.
