Seems about right then out of the blue a day with 6-7 dogs hit like a while back, or a +300 like the white sox sneaks up and beats a -300....usually later summer, this time of year it gets a bit wacky as many guys wear down and while vets and contenders are ramping up for the post-season push..

Was asked in one of my telegram groups why I chose Giants (considering they lost 3 straight at home)..

Logan webb vs Max Fried. Webb is on a whole different level than Fried right now.Giants are desperate after dropping 2 in 9th or 10th and 1 yesterday where it was a laugher, they will rally behind the Ace as most teams do to get him run support early. I expect the giants advanced scouts did a good job today, and giants will pounce early. As far as recency and form- Fried is 0-3, 7.08 in his last four starts. Webb is 3-0, 0.83 in his last three starts....and while giants have lost 3 straight to the braves, anyone rushing to the window to back a guy with a 7 ERA vs a guy with a ERA Less than 1 is not thinking clearly.... I dont care if the giants had the white sox lineup....even bad lineups prevail and the giants arent that bad like the white sox....expect them to be very aggressive on the bases too to push runs early. Lastly, It's exponentially more difficult to sweep a team as a road team....its difficult in a 3 game series...much harder to win 4 straight...as a road team..

***1st Umpire Over is Seattle/Detroit Over 7.5 (Played above) with Edwin Moscoso, who is rated 4.33 in the extreme hitter friendly cat, and last year you could see why with over 10 runs and 23-13 over, while this year slightly down still + over at 13-10 Over, but avg 9 runs on a low 63% strikes and 2.5 SO/BB Ratio. Runs are always on the table for hitters with Ed. A lot pts to the over as the teams avg 9.3 runs per game playing eachother and while M's ranks 27th with 3.98 runs per game, they avg 4.37 runs on the road, good for 17th, while Detroit scores 4.31 runs at home, and have scored 5 ore more in 3 of their last 6. The over is also 6-2 in last 8 Mariners road games.
