Silly gambling superstition. $50 bills are frogs, and allegedly unlucky. I’m not superstitious. I’ll take piles of them.

Wow. I did not know this.

The part in the story about $50 bills being found on people taken out by the mafia is interesting.

When I was in college and started going to the horse track I got to be friends with some older guys that were always there and got me free admission to the turf club.

They were old-school. If any of the tellers tried to pay them winnings with a $50 bill they wouldn’t even touch it. They’d make them give them smaller or higher denominations

I have them too. There’s a lot about them that sucks. But they’re everywhere. And when I was going to Vegas a lot with my ex we had it down pat.

There was a Wells Fargo ATM in the Howard Hughes building, which was about a $10 cab ride from the center of the strip. If I won a decent amount on any given night we would go and deposit most of it in that ATM. Was a great way to help me keep my winnings.

Only city I’ve ever been to that didn’t have a Wells Fargo when I needed it is New Orleans for some reason.

My son moved there and had to get a new bank since WF not around.

LOL My bank gave me 4 $50 bills this morning....I pulled over immediately and went into Trader Joe's to get rid of them
