Good point. There is not one person out there that can win every year so how does anyone even maintain being a professional gambler without some sort of side income to cover the losses and have a net income? That is one of the biggest reasons why people who are even okay or good at sports betting tout, so they can help bandage their losses.

You have to look at models or know how to make one to be successful. Kenpom isn't a source to win consistently. Your going against a stat wiz kid who makes the numbers when you bet. You have to find the one or two games where you can find the edge.

I don't know why sportsbooks don't just hire the brightest minds in sportsbetting to help them reduce the edges even more by helping them implant their software with sharper lines. I'm sure they have already done this in the past.
