Alabama -4.5

Missouri is good but not good enough to stay with Alabama. Bama is on a 6-0 ATS run. Missouri is 3-3 ATS. Bama handles the road games well and covers.

Missouri is due for a return to mediocrity after beating Arkansas at home on Wednesday in a crazy win. It was a tight game until midway through 2nd half. They were down by 8 with 5 left and ended up winning in the last minute of the game. I don't think we can expect a repeat of that against a team as good as Bama.

This one could be my Best Bet of the day.

Virginia -3

Virginia is at Wake today. Wake has had a little run going 4-0 and 6-1 in last 7 but, excluding the Duke win, these were against teams they should have beaten.

Virginia is beating teams they should and by a decent margin. Closest game was 7 point win vs North Carolina. Virginia is just too good a team to not cover this spread. I expected this to be closer to 5-6 spread and will gladly take -3.

K-state -3.5

This one I like for a lot of reasons and dislike for 1 main reason.

K-state is a much better team than Texas Tech. The 3.5 pt spread is too low IMO. Texas Tech is 0-6 in Big12 play and is on the road in this one. K-state just beat arch rival KU on Tuesday in an exciting game (won by 1).

Why I don't like it... Texas Tech is due. I know, you don't bet on teams being due but they are. K-State may have a let down after the HUGE KU win. I'm thinking that is what is driving the line down to 3.5.

Statistically and trend-wise, the play should be on K-state at home so we are going with that.

Tennessee is at LSU. LSU is without their main ball handler (Hill).
LSU is on a 0-5 SU run. They were crushed by Auburn at home in their last game (lost by 18) with Hill being out.

Tennessee is one of the best teams in the country. LSU doesn't break the top 100. This should be an easy cover for the Volunteers.

The CBB card was not good to pick from today. There were a lot of teams ranked over 200 vs another team ranked over 200.
