Since I'm a Giants fan I'm partial to their team of broadcasters Kruk and Kuip on tv as well as Dave Fleming and Jon Miller. Dave Fleming is good when he calls other sports too so he's one of my favorites. College hoops is my favorite sport and there are so many good ones but Jay Bilas despite being a Dukie is my favorite.

Nope.....
He was horrible "baby".....

Sure he had a gimmick, strange voice, energy but, not a good announcer for B-ball games.
Jim Nance was great for CBB. Smooth, intelligent. Great announcer.
I know a lot of people hate Vitale but I kind of liked him because he has a great passion for basketball and that made him all right in my book.

All time favourite sports announcer was definitely Gene Hart. Voice of the Flyers.

Followed by Harry Kalas. Voice of the Phillies.

Least favourite was Mark Zumoff who was the Voice of the Sixers. Couldn't stand him.

Back when boxing was still hot used to love the trio of Lampley, Manny Steward and even Larry Merchant. (A real character who bothered many)

All had knowledge and great passion for the sport (Lampley would often tear up talking about boxing). I miss HBO boxing. Wasn’t the same after Steward died

Yeah, I remember those days. Lampley was great. I really didn't care for Larry Merchant. He always seemed so over dramatic about everything.

Also loved Bob Costas

Brad Sham (Cowboys radio man since the 70s) is simply the best in the business. He and Babe Laufenberg are great during games and I always try to remember to stream their broadcasts.

Even though I hear their announcement 20-25 seconds before I see it on TV it’s worth it
