Right now I'm 2-0 with Bama blowing out Wisconsin and Memphis winning outright. Oregon just went up 18 but Oregon State has the ball so I need them to find a way into the end zone and then slow down Dillon Gabriel. At least Washington State is winning by 8 late in the 3rd Quarter so if I end up 3-1 today I can live with it.

Ok 3-1 day today and 3-3 for the week in college football. Not too bad could be better but the way I've been running I'm happy with a 3-1 day on a tough Saturday card. Now on to NFL Sunday where I'll try to find some more winners.

Rough day on Sunday as I go 0-3. Judging from the results of the games I'd say the books got back what they lost in week 1 but I'm not sure about that. I just know I did well in week 1 and nothing went my way in week 2 from fantasy to the BMR contests to my own personal bets with real money. We'll see what I come up with for tomorrow's game between Philly and Atlanta so hopefully it goes my way if I do play anything in the NFL or if I look elsewhere for action.

Ok so I decided to have a little fun in the NFL tonight. I had trouble picking a side in this one because I think Atlanta will play much better tonight than they did last week when I faded them against's Pittsburgh. I also think the Philly defense is suspect based off of what I saw when we saw them play in Brazil week 1. That said I liked what the new look Philly offense looked like with Saquon Barkley leading the charge which takes pressure off of Jalen Hurts. I know they don't have AJ Brown tonight but I think they can put up points in this one against Atlanta while on the other side of the ball I expect Atlanta to have a much better offensive game this week because I don't think Philly's defense is very good. So over 45.5 is my play on the total with a slight lean to Atlanta plus the points on the side but I didn't take that because I don't fully trust Atlanta here to cover.

I also played a couple of touchdown props for fun tonight. I like Kyle Pitts in the Atlanta offense because I think Kirk Cousins will utilize him more in the passing game since he often looks for his tight end when he gets in trouble so I think Pitts has a reasonable shot to score tonight and is worth a look at +220.

My other touchdown play is on Jahan Dotson at +325. I only put half a unit on this one but my reasoning is that he has to play a lot tonight because AJ Brown is out. Dotson is essentially the WR2 behind Devonta Smith tonight so I think they will call his number a decent amount and it's worth a sprinkle on him to score tonight at a juicy +325 price.

I also made a play in bases on the Cardinals. They're playing Paul Skenes today so I think they'll struggle to scratch across runs early in the game but if they can stay close into the later innings I think they have a shot later in the game to beat the Pirates lackluster bullpen so I took a shot on them for half a unit here as I try to scale back my units in other sports since I'm trying to allocate most of my bankroll to football.

The only suspect thing about the over is ATL scoring. They only had 226 yards last week and were last in Offensive EPA (expected points added). Like you mention they will have to hit the weak spots in Philly D to get some points which is possible since they were in the bottom of the pack on DVOA.

I too like Barkley in this Philly offense. I think it really changes things up for them and helps Hurts (who needs it).

Sharp money has taken 3 points off the total from the opener so a lot of money is on the under. Sometimes I feel like the sharps bet a number down to a number they feel comfortable betting the other side on. I'm hoping that happens here for me because I think 45.5 is too low for a Philly game. I just hope Atlanta's offense will score enough points tonight because that's the only thing that worries me about this pick.
