I wonder how dangerous cigars are even without inhaling
No one knows for sure. That's the truth. It's like anything else though too much of anything can't be good for you, right?

My opinion on it is, it's pretty fukkin safe. How does anyone explain that the heads of the families that make these cigars live into their 90s and 100s and smoke 10 cigars or more a day?

Also, the difference between a cigar and a cigarette is that cigarettes can contain over 300 different chemicals processed into them.

A premium cigar is 100% pure tobacco.

Exactly - I’ve known people who have smoked 50+ years - relatively healthy. Others who haven’t smoked in decades and experienced issues.

Cigarette companies manipulate the mix to maximize usage - or at least they did at one time. It’s a proven fact. That stopped in the 80s as the FDA pressure caught up and the donations to certain Southern senators campaign funds slowed with declining funds available.

The funniest thing I ever saw was in the early 90s when Reynolds introduced “all natural”cigarettes- like hey - this is just good old pure leaf tobacco like the American Indian smoked - how can it be bad for you. Yea - those Native Americans, they seemed to live long and be immune to illness amongst other things.

My father smoked cigars everyday from 1950-1988, multiple times a day. He is now 92, he has health issues but nothing lung related or smoking related. So who really knows?

Genetics overall and other lifestyle choices.

They may smoke 10 cigars a day - and drink a little rum - but it’s not like they are sitting around eating a bucket of KFC for lunch and watching TV all day.

They have better diets and much stronger work ethics that keep them busy.

Genetics is one answer but probably not the overall answer. People still do get cancer there. But who really knows? I don't think there's any one answer for it all.
