Since The Red Team keeps lying about the numbers, let me correct everyone who believes the Malarkey:
average gallon of gas under Trump was $2.57. under Biden $3.61
average rent under Trump was $1371 a month. under Biden $1535 a month.
On Inauguration Day 01/20/2021, the stock market numbers compared to yesterday's close 07/19/2024:
DOW was 30,930 and now it is 40,287. increase of 30%
S&P 500 was 3798 and now it is 5505. increase 45%
NASDAQ was 13,197 and now it is 17,726. increase of 34%
Bitcoin was 35,500 and now it is 67,072 as i type this. increase 89%
Ethereum was 1385 and now it is 3503. increase 153%
Gold was $1840 now it is $2402. increase 30%
Silver was $25 now it is $29.50 increase 18%
And for those of us who own properties in Blue States especially here in CA have seen our home values go from average $635K on 1/20/2021 up to $858K today so an increase of 35% in Equity in the last 3.5 years.
Even passive investors in 401K's, IRA's, 529's, etc etc etc have made money with their eyes closed without even lifting a finger.
Many many tens of millions (especially in Blue States) have earned many many many millions in the last 42 months since Joseph Biden took office.
Yeah, and inflation is getting under control now even though the next president will likely be inflationary, no matter which one.
But let's all cut the crap that lowering energy costs will lower transportation which will lower prices.
That's bullshit, it sounds good until you get to the part where you ask corporations making record profits (the reason our markets our flying high) to lower their prices.
They never lower their prices, not significanlty, once inlfation raised them.
Let's be real here.
I could complain about the prices going up the last year or so, but if you are in the markets, you likely made up for it.
The rich get richer and the poor just have to pay more.
Think about what would happen if the gov't actually eliminated income tax and used tariffs to replace those funds. The wealthy won't pay all those taxes, and pay more in the store, they can afford it.
But what about the bottom 90+ percent? Small savings in taxes overall, but price increases everywhere.
I wish these campaigners would be real about some of these very important things, and not just lie about them, some of us know better.
