I'm going to ride the Astros freight train until the wheels fall off. This team is going to win the AL West and now they're playing like the best team in the division having won 7 straight. Tampa Bay is fading so I feel good about this one. As for the other two plays I think the Brewers and the Giants strike back after dropping the first two games of their respective series against the Dodgers and Braves.

I know they' re not that good but I decided to play them Wednesday because I thought they had the pitching advantage and of course Robbie Ray got knocked out in the 1st inning after only getting 2 outs. On to the next but you can't complain about a 2-1 day in bases.

It's been a grind but since starting this thread I've gotten my overall season in bases down to basically breaking even. It's tough to cap for sure which is probably why a lot of people quit betting it once the dog days of summer hit and football season creeps up right around the corner and I can't say I blame them because betting this sport daily can put a dent in your football bankroll.

If anything I lean under in this game. Phoenix might be tired and this one is on the road again so they traveled from Chicago to Indiana. As for the spread I think it's pretty sharp because these teams are pretty evenly matched despite the fact that Indiana won the first two matchups. I don't know what to expect from Indiana because they've been off so long but I don't know if I can back Phoenix either so that's why I stayed away from it.

2-2 day as Seattle loses and Kansas City/Cincinnati doesn't go over the total but Arizona's late rally sent their total over with Tampa Bay. Connecticut easily dispatched of the outmatched Wings and looked every bit the title contender with the addition of Marina Mabrey to the mix so I go 1-2 in bases and 1-0 on the WNBA hardwood.
