It was really nice to hit with the Wings after they got down 20. Good to see them come back and not only win but cover the 6 for us. I was impressed with Atlanta in this game but it's a four quarter game and Dallas kept chipping away until they took over in the 4th Quarter in what was really closer than the final score indicated. It'll be interesting to see what happens in game 2 of this series on Tuesday because I think this is the one series that could go 3 games although you never know how teams will respond in the playoffs in a win or go home scenario.

No games tomorrow and I don't think I'll have a play on either of the 2 games Sunday because it's NFL Sunday and besides that I have to work in the morning so I probably will pass the two games. That means I won't have any plays until Tuesday as thats when the schedule resumes between the teams that played tonight.

All right we're back at it today and I must say I'm a sucker for the Washington Mystics getting 10.5 points. I honestly think they can keep it close against the Liberty with their season on the line. Of course I thought that last time and the Liberty ran them out of the gym in the 4th Quarter. The Mystics played well for a half in that game and I think if they can play better defense against the perimeter shooting of the Liberty they can stay within the number here if not win outright to force a game 3.

In the second game I took the Wings -6.5 because I feel like they're a matchup nightmare for the Dream. They simply have too much size for the Dream who must rely on hot perimeter shooting to beat the Wings. They shot extremely well in the first half against the Wings in game 1 and that allowed them to build a 20 point lead. I'm banking on the Dream's shooting cooling off here and the Wings covering again against them like they've done all season when these two teams have played.

Nice easy 2-0 day for the thread as the Mystics fought hard and took the game to overtime before the Liberty pulled out a close one and the Dream got blown out of the gym by the Wings who were the better team than the Dream all year. Tomorrow we have a deciding game between the Sun and Lynx. I already know I'm going to bet the Sun -5 because I think the Lynx woke the Sun up by beating them in game 2 and the books are giving us value on the better team by making this only a 5 point spread thanks to the game being in Minnesota. Give me Sun all day to set up a huge semi-final playoff series with the Liberty.

Nah I'm not going to do that. Just not my betting style but that shouldn't stop you from doing you. I may not end up in the black but I had fun doing this thread so I am debating sharing my plays for the upcoming College hoops and NBA season since basketball is my favorite sport to watch and I want to track my plays to see how I'm doing.

Getting my plays in for tomorrow's semi-final matchups in the W early because I don't know if I'll have time tomorrow to post them. First up I like Connecticut to make it a close game against the Liberty in the first matchup. I don't know that they win and actually I feel like they probably do lose here but 8 points is a lot to ask the Liberty to cover against a very good Sun team imo so I'll take the points.

In the next matchup between the Wings and the Aces I thought about taking the 10.5 points with the Wings because I do think they'll be competitive in this series and probably even win a game but this is not the spot for that imo. The Aces will come out focused and looking to make a statement so I think it's likely that they cover. My play in this one is actually on the total. I think even though it's high at 174.5 both of these teams are very good offensively and like to run which lends itself to an over so that's where I'm going with my pick.

Nice 2-0 day for the thread as the Sun got off to a good start with a convincing 15 point win against the Liberty. The Aces game against the Wings played out like I thought it would after a slow start and easily went over the total. Heating up at the right time as the season winds down so I'll take it.

Ok we're back with a pair of game 2 picks tonight. First up in the matchup between the Sun and Liberty I lean to the Liberty bouncing back here but that spread is too wide so I stayed away from the side in this one and instead focused on the total. I think both teams lock in defensively and we see a closely contested defensive struggle here so I took under 159.5 as my official play in this game.

In the second game between the Wings and Aces I see the Wings bouncing back a little here and making it a game. They got blown out in game 1 but even though the Aces dominated they still only won by 14. I think the Wings play better here and stay with the Aces so I took the 10.5 points because even though I think the Aces win most likely I don't think they cover.

I was so close to another 2-0 day but the Liberty and Sun game went over by 2 points so that number was sharp. The Wings did as I expected and played the Aces tough before ultimately losing and beating the spread. So I have to be happy with 1-1 because those games played out like I thought but unfortunately the Liberty and Sun got things going offensively in the 4th and sent the total over.
