Today's game features a struggling Mystics team going on the road to take on another team that's struggling in the Lynx. I am sticking with my gut on this one and playing the Lynx to win the game. Since I missed the best of the number on the spread I am playing the ML here and expect the Lynx to pull out a close game.

The line seems to have come off a little after skyrocketing from -145 to -175.
Hoping it continues to tail off a little so I can jump in and tail your play.

Yeah the spread jumped from -2.5 to -3.5. I might've just played the spread -2.5 if it stayed there but now that it's over a one possession spread I felt the ML was the better play.

Thanks that was exactly how I thought the game would play out. If Washington had Della Donne I might've taken the Mystics plus the points but they're playing shorthanded so I don't think you can trust them right now unless they're playing one of the bottom tier teams at home.

Tomorrow features an early afternoon game between the Fever and the Sparks so I'm not sure I'll have a play on that one. The evening game between the Dream and the Liberty will be a barnburner so I'll probably have some action on that one.

I'm leaning towards Fever 1Q. to start strong.

I like NYL 1Q, but i feel like a dog +9 backdoor is plausible.

nothing i particularly like, so i might just parlay both, idk.

The Fever and Sparks just matched up with each other on Tuesday and the Sparks won 79-78. I don't think the Sparks will cover the 3.5 points here but its hard to trust either side in this game because they're both equally bad. The Fever don't win very often but they've been competitive against teams that aren't very good and the Sparks fall into that category so I lean towards Indiana.

In the nightcap I like the Dream but I'm high on them and they've let me down at times when they face good teams like the Liberty. One thing about the Liberty is they are the second best team imo but that hasn't translated to them covering spreads. I lean Atlanta here because 9.5 seems like too many for the Liberty to lay against an Atlanta team that has been pretty good this season.

I'm going with my leans today and taking both dogs ATS as well as sprinkling on the Fever ML in what amounts to a coin flip game in my estimation so I'm taking a stab at the +135 ML for the Fever.

Indiana +3.5 -115 1.15u to win 1u
Indiana ML +135 0.5u to win 0.68u
Atlanta +9.5 -114 1.14u to win 1u

I've reached the point where I might not get involved in any more Fever games because I'm never on them when they cover which is weird only because they have a winning record ATS this season despite a horrible W-L record. Thanks I appreciate it I wasn't doing that badly before I created this thread. I was actually up a couple of units betting WNBA and playing limited volume. Now my record overall is 10-14 when you take all my plays on the season and I went from up 2 units to down 3 units just like that. I know I can turn it around I haven't given up hope but maybe I get back to being more selective with my wagers.

Just realized I didn't go back far enough on the bet tracker and found out I'm 27-26 now and more or less break even on the season. Before this thread I was up a couple of units but this rough patch has changed that. Just the nature of sports betting I guess sometimes you're up and sometimes you're down.

Washington/Dallas o163.5 -112 1.12u to win 1u
Chicago -4 -115 1.15u to win 1u
New York Liberty 1H -8 -110 1.10u to win 1u

I played over the total in the Washington game with Dallas because I expect both teams to push the pace here and this one to shoot over. The spread was a little too big for my liking since I lean towards Dallas here covering but I like this total because I think both teams play fast and get a lot of buckets in transition.

The Chicago Sky game with the Storm is my least confident of the three bets I made but I took the Sky because they're at home and in their recent matchup against the Storm in Seattle they blew them out by 15. This one is tough though because the Storm hung around with the two best teams in the league in the Aces and the Liberty so they might come within the 4 points here against a team in the Sky that isn't that great.

For the last game I took the Liberty 1H -8 and I'm pretty confident in this bet because the Lynx are missing their best player Naphessa Collier and that should allow the Liberty to jump out to a comfortable lead by halftime. The full game spread is a little dicey because the Liberty are on a back to back and have to travel to LA for Sunday's game so they might look to rest their key players in the 2nd Half.

Sorry guys another 0-3 day for the thread. It's really brutal in the WNBA lately for me but I'm not one to give up so I'll continue to post plays and hope this turns around. Maybe tomorrow's off day will give me a chance to recharge the batteries so to speak and try again on Sunday where there is a gigantic 6 game slate with all the teams in action.
