Well - surgery moved up a day.
Will be tomorrow at 8a - had a reschedule so they can see me a day earlier.
Scary - but I am at peace with it mostly. It’s all in the lords and the surgeons hands come tomorrow AM - just need to know that what will be will be.
Of course it’s very unlikely I will be posting tomorrow. I will update BMR as I can - just know no news is good news on my end.
Thoughts/prayers and messages of encouragement have been very much appreciated during this stressful time - just want you all to know that. There are many hurdles yet to clear - tomorrow is just the first and hopefully the biggest.
Once again - when it comes to your health - please do not F around and be pro-active. As tempting as it is to just pass it off - trust me you do not want to have to look into the eyes of someone you love and know they are realizing things may suddenly change for them and there is nothing you can do about it. God Bless.

I got my blood results from my annual early last month. The results were good but I had really high LDL cholesterol and not enough HDL. I eat fairly well, but sometimes I overdue portions size and I guess instead of ordering out once or twice a week, I need to narrow that down to once every two weeks. I'm incorporating a protein shake every morning and eating more nuts. I'm pretty active but I did gain a 7 pounds since my last annual which is no bueno

Yea - don’t play around with this stuff.
2 years ago I had my first EKG - some slightly irregular T waves and indicated slight blockage - actually went to cardiologist and had an echo. He said good - but need to manage the diet better/get out and walk a little more and monitor it….I heard keep doing what your doing - it’s fine and this guy is gonna tell anyone to do this stuff.
So yea - if I had done what he said - worst case likely a cath to clean things up (super easy - in and out in a hour) and keep up with the changes. Instead I’m staring straight at major surgery 2 years later and a solid decade before I should be at all. Having a heart attack changed the picture dramatically- knowing it was a preventable one is absolutely crushing. Could be worse of course - but still.
